DR-05X TASCAM PORTABLE AUDIO RECORDER & USB AUDIO INTERFACE

The DR-05X is quick and easy to use with one thumb. Operations such as recording, adjusting levels, removing bad takes and adding markers are just a click away. Other functions such as low-cut filtering, Variable Speed Audition, chromatic tuner and more can be selected from the multilingual menu. Three different auto-level modes (Limiter, Peak Reduction, Auto Level) can help prevent accidental distortion during recording. There is also a Level Align function that allows you to smooth out sudden volume movements during playback, and there is a built-in speaker for quick feedback. Users can apply one of six reverb effects to the input or output signal, and an Overdub feature allows other parts to be recorded, such as a guitar solo over a previous recording, like in a rehearsal studio. Overdub creates a new file, so the original file isn't affected and it's easy to re-record.
