The system is developed for demanding live performances and combines powerful full-range sound reproduction, ample headroom and controlled dispersion with the fast and easy operation the MAUI series is known for.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe powerful 15\" neodymium woofer delivers solid and accurate low-end reproduction down to 34 Hz. The bass reflex ports, specially designed for optimal airflow, reduce turbulence and port noise, keeping the bass clean and defined even at high sound pressure levels.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe two-part column features a total of 14 × 3.5\" neodymium midrange drivers and 4 × 1\" compression drivers. In the upper section, newly developed phase plugs and BEM-optimised waveguides ensure even and controlled dispersion. The lower section features horn-loaded midrange drivers for higher efficiency, ample headroom and powerful, clear vocal reproduction. The result is coherent midrange and high-frequency reproduction with a dispersion angle of 120° × 25°.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe passive cardioid design of the column directs sound energy towards the audience while simultaneously attenuating rear sound radiation by up to 18 dB. This increases bass reproduction towards the audience while noticeably reducing it behind the system. For maximum low-end reinforcement, the second subwoofer can be aimed forward, doubling the sound pressure in the low-frequency range (+6 dB).\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe class D amplifier delivers 1,800 W RMS and 3,600 W peak power, with a maximum sound pressure level of 133 dB SPL.
