The matching active subwoofer extends the cardioid properties for the MAUI® 44 G2. 

Place the SUB next to your MAUI® 44 G2 with the woofer facing rear. Press the cardioid function and you'll have a quieter and controlled Low-End at the rear, while still holding the punch at the front. This feature is ideal for bass produced by pointing the subs towards the front. The Low-End frequencies at the rear of the system are attenuated by -15 dB. For extra bass, hold the SUB in the same direction as your MAUI® 44 G2 without pressing the cardioid button.
