STINGER 28 G3 LD SYSTEMS Passive Speaker (2x 8 inch)

This passive 2-way speaker is designed for rock-solid reliability day in and day out. With its multifunctional bass reflex construction, it's equally suited for full-range, satellite, or monitor use in live PA systems and permanent installations. The STINGER® 28 G3 has a power rating of 400 watts RMS and a maximum sound pressure level of 125 dB. It's equipped with two specially designed 8" woofers and a BMS compression driver for punchy lows and smooth, clear highs. The HF waveguide is designed using BEM, numerical modeling of sound radiation and propagation. It reduces floor and ceiling reflections, effectively eliminates side lobes, and achieves a controlled, uniform coverage pattern. Phase plugs are positioned directly in front of the two 8" woofers, increasing mid-range efficiency and reducing harmonic distortion above the crossover frequency.

The STINGER® 28 G3 is engineered as a true workhorse. The enclosure is made of rigid birch plywood and coated with ultra-strong polyurea for exceptional strength and durability.
