The AB168 is a portable, remotely controlled 48 kHz AudioRack designed for use with Qu, Avantis and SQ mixing consoles and with AHM audio matrix processors.

• 16 microphone preamps: +60 dB gain, phantom power indicators and a -20 dB pad for line-level sources.
• 8 XLR line outputs: Balanced, relay-protected line outputs via XLR.
• Expander port: For daisy-chaining 2 compatible expanders or connecting to ME personal mixers.
• Plug-and-play: No configuration required: simply connect the unit to your mixer and you're ready to go. Firmware updates are handled automatically by the mixer.

Thanks to the Expander's rugged design, featuring wear-resistant rubber bumpers, it can be placed directly on the stage floor during performances. Weighing just 4.8 kg and fitted with a sturdy carrying handle, the AB168 offers the convenience and portability required in the rental sector, education, houses of worship and many other environments. An optional 4U rack mount kit is available for installation in 19-inch racks.

The AB168 can be positioned up to 100 m from the mixing console for maximum setup flexibility. The unit connects to the mixing console or an upstream Expander via a single Cat5 cable. A second port is provided for daisy-chaining with another compatible Expander or for connecting to an ME personal mixing system.
