DMP42 - SourceCon™ DAB/DAB+ & FM tuner module

The DMP42 is a professional DAB/DAB+ & FM tuner with SourceCon™ modular technology. This unique technology guarantees a true plug & play implementation on any compatible device. When inserted into a supporting slot, the module instantly installs, detects and is ready for use without the need for additional internal wiring or complex configuration. 

The DMP42 provides access to a wide variety of radio stations while ensuring high-quality sound reproduction. Stations can be selected manually or automatically, while up to 10 preferred stations can be stored and recalled internally. Information about radio stations via RDS / Radiotext can be retrieved, while other functions such as mono/stereo switching (FM) always guarantee the best possible sound clarity.

The signal output level can be configured by the user, while dynamic range compression (DRC) is supported, improving intelligibility at low volumes in applications with high background noise. Signal reception strength can be queried by the module and displayed on the control unit's graphical interface. The antenna input is equipped with an F-type connector on the panel, allowing connection of the supplied antenna cable or another external antenna with 75 Ohm coaxial wiring. The balanced stereo line output is connected via two 3-pin terminals.

Note: An external antenna is required for DAB/DAB+ reception. For DAB/DAB+ reception, we recommend the RGA12 outdoor DAB/DAB+ antenna.
