Condenser boundary microphone

The Sennheiser E 901 is a condenser microphone with a half-cardioid polar pattern for recording kick drums. This flat boundary microphone features an extremely rugged housing and an integrated preamplifier. The frequency response runs from 20 Hz to 20 kHz and is optimised for kick drums, but the microphone is also highly suitable for a Leslie cabinet and other low-frequency instruments.

Mounting the Sennheiser E 901 requires no complex shock-mounts or clamps. Simply place it directly in front of or inside your kick drum for a perfect recording. The sturdy rubber anti-slip pad on the underside also reduces unwanted noise and keeps the microphone in place during recording.
