About
The Sennheiser E 906 is an instrument microphone specially designed for guitar amplifiers. To use it, place the flat front of the microphone close to the speaker. This can be done using a stand, but you can also simply let the microphone hang from an XLR cable. In addition to guitar amplifiers, the microphone is also very well suited for capturing other low-frequency instruments, such as drums, percussion and brass instruments.
The Sennheiser E 906 delivers a natural sound, making it popular in both live and studio situations. The frequency response between 40 Hz and 18 kHz also makes the E 906 highly suitable for recording applications; the super-cardioid microphone ensures outstanding recordings free from noise or hum.
