EVOLVE 50 Electro-Voice Column PA System (Black) B-stock Showroom

The EVOLVE 50 active column speaker system is a three-component speaker system powered by a 1000 W class-D amplifier and Electro-Voice's QuickSmartDSP.

The system consists of a 15 mm wooden, ported, active subwoofer enclosure housing a 12" subwoofer capable of reproducing a functional frequency down to 37 Hz.

The bi-directional aluminium pole is attached to the subwoofer with a magnet, and the column array is attached to the sub pole using gravity. The signal is routed internally to the components.

Eight 3.5" neodymium drivers in the column array, combined with the 12" subwoofer, deliver a maximum SPL of 127 dB. The eight compound waveguides control the high frequencies with 120° horizontal coverage and 40° asymmetric (downward-tilted) vertical coverage to ensure suitable output for both seated and standing audiences. The sub pole and column array are pre-packed in a carry bag.

The processing engine is easy to configure via four presets (Music, Live, Speech and Club), three-band EQ, five user-programmable presets (save and recall settings), output delay, phantom power (+15V), visual limiter status monitoring, input level control and meters, and master volume control to ensure an optimal gain structure.

The new Electro-Voice QuickSmart Mobile application uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BTLE) technology for wireless configuration, control and monitoring of up to six EVOLVE 50 systems simultaneously. High-resolution Bluetooth audio streaming adds convenience for wirelessly playing music in break rooms, intermissions and musical accompaniment.
