The Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50 G2 Subwoofer forms the foundation of the EVOLVE 50 G2 portable column system. This separate bass module combines a 12-inch woofer with the system's electronics, including the 1.500 W Class-D amplifier, built-in mixer and DSP. The amplifier delivers 800 W to the low end and 700 W to the separately available column array.

The laminar flow port design ensures efficient bass reproduction. The integrated mixer features, among other things, two XLR/TRS mic/line inputs with switchable 48 V phantom power, a stereo XLR/TRS combo input and stereo RCA and 3.5 mm inputs. Wireless music playback is possible via Bluetooth, including support for True Wireless Stereo (TWS).

The built-in DSP offers music ducking, feedback suppression and comprehensive effects, and can be controlled via the colour display or the QuickSmart App. Via QuickSmart Link, two EVOLVE 50 G2 systems can be connected to share audio and control.

The sturdy plywood enclosure is finished with a polyurea coating and fitted with a powder-coated steel grille. The redesigned handles on the top and sides make the 19.5 kg bass module easier to handle during transport and setup.
