The Electro-Voice EVOLVE 50M G2 subwoofer forms the foundation and powerful heart of the EVOLVE 50M G2 portable column system. The enclosure houses a 12" woofer, a 1,500 W Class-D amplifier and an integrated mixer with extensive connectivity options. The Laminar Flow port design contributes to deeper and more efficient low-frequency reproduction, while the integrated DSP offers AFS feedback suppression, Music Ducking and extensive effects options, among other features.

The mixer features four XLR/TRS combo mic/line inputs with switchable 48 V phantom power, an additional XLR/TRS combo mic/line input, a 6.3 mm Hi-Z instrument input and stereo RCA and 3.5 mm line inputs. Also present are an XLR mix output, XLR aux output and 6.3 mm footswitch input for effects control. Bluetooth supports stereo streaming with TWS, while QuickSmart Link makes it possible to share audio and control between two EVOLVE 50M G2 systems.

The redesigned handle on top simplifies transport. The column and extension pole are sold separately and are available with a carrying bag. Available as optional accessories are the EVOLVE50-CVR-G2 padded protective cover and EVOLVE50-CASE transport case with wheels.
