The HDJ-X7 headphone is based on our previous flagship model, the HDJ-2000MK2, and is equipped with newly developed drivers, while the HDJ-X5 headphone has inherited the high-quality audio design from the HDJ-X7, ensuring you always get a clear monitoring sound, even at high volumes.

However you prefer to wear your headphones, you can wear all HDJ-X models comfortably for extended periods thanks to the flexible rotation mechanism and the housing developed with input from professional DJs. They are also designed to be highly robust, and all models have passed both the MIL-STD-810G shock test⁴ – a test that all equipment for the US military must withstand – and our own rigorous durability tests.

High-quality audio design
The HDJ-X7 headphone is based on the professional model HDJ-2000MK2 and is also equipped with the newly developed 50 mm driver. The shape and materials of the new diaphragm were optimised to create tight bass tones and clear high frequencies, to benefit from accurate monitoring sound.

Cable with a 4-core twisted structure
The independent ground wire in the 4-core twisted cable provides superior separation between the left and right channels, for improved sound quality.

Bass reflex chamber
The bass reflex chamber at the top of the housing guarantees outstanding bass response and sound isolation.

Suitable for all monitoring styles

During the development of each new product, we create countless prototypes, to which we continually apply new improvements based on feedback from professional DJs who test our products. Using that feedback and the results of our analysis of many different monitoring styles, we have ensured that the HDJ-X headphones are always comfortable to wear, regardless of how you wear them. The housing design reduces pressure on your head and features a texture on the outside that improves grip, so you can quickly grab it and start listening.

A comfortable and flexible headband

To help you find the perfect fit, the HDJ-X headphones are equipped with a flexible, durable headband. They have passed our rigorous test – in which they are opened and closed 20,000 times – and are therefore built for intensive use.

Features inherited from the HDJ-2000 models

The HDJ-X headphones are the successors to the HDJ-2000 models and have inherited some popular professional features from their predecessors, such as their flexible rotation mechanism for comfortable monitoring, regardless of how you prefer to wear them.

Highly durable materials and construction

Durable metals were used in all moving parts of both the HDJ-X10 and the HDJ-X7 headphones to make the construction as strong as possible.

Replacement parts available

You can easily replace the detachable cables and ear pads for all HDJ-X headphones as these are (available separately). Each model comes with its own cable and the HDJ-X7 and HDJ-X5 models share the same bayonet connector. You can therefore purchase an alternative cable type if you prefer (available separately). Replacement ear pads are available for the HDJ-X10 and the HDJ-X7, and each of these sets fits all HDJ-X models, including the HDJ-X5.

A solid and refined design

All HDJ-X headphones have a sophisticated look and are solidly built. The housings of the HDJ-X10 and HDJ-X7 models are finished with a metal design crafted using a process of spinning aluminium and diamond cutting, making them shine under club and stage lighting. Choose from the black or silver versions to find the look that suits you best.

Outstanding portability

The HDJ-X7 and the HDJ-X5 both come with a compact carry pouch that fits snugly around the folded headphone, to save space in your luggage and reduce the risk of damage while travelling.
