The LINEAR 7 118 Sub A is an extremely powerful yet compact 18-inch subwoofer. Equipped with all the features of the network-compatible LINEAR 7 series, it delivers phenomenal low-frequency performance across a wide range of applications. LINEAR 7 is deliberately based on the look and proven robust mechanics of the LINEAR 5 series, with specific improvements to the cabinet details. Both technically and acoustically, the LINEAR 7 speaker family represents a completely new development. The latest generation of high-performance speakers and drivers, specially designed horns, Pascal Class-D amplifiers with high impulse power, FIR filtering, and the latest exceptionally powerful DSP platform with high-resolution converters make the LINEAR 7 family an acoustically precise instrument for demanding applications. An especially notable feature exclusive to the LINEAR 7 series is that an additional, non-network-compatible active speaker (e.g. from the LINEAR series) can be integrated into the network via DSP-Out, with all parameters independently controllable remotely. This ensures that existing infrastructure retains its value and remains future-proof.

A fully parametric 10-band EQ, high-pass filter, low-pass filter, delay, polarity and limiting are independently available for both the speakers and DSP-Out.
