The MAUI 5 is an ultra-compact PA and monitor system in one, weighing just under 11 kg and delivering 800 W peak power and a maximum sound pressure level of 120 dB. The smallest member of the MAUI family is assembled in seconds thanks to specially developed multi-pin connectors and just four components. It also features wide sound dispersion and high feedback resistance. The MAUI 5 is easy to transport and fits on any car seat.

The bass reflex enclosure of the 8" subwoofer also houses the system's Class-D amplifier unit with protection circuits against overcurrent, overheating and short circuits, LD Systems LECC digital signal processing and a 4-channel mixer. Thanks to the built-in Bluetooth© technology for wireless streaming, in addition to the use of the microphone, line and high-impedance inputs, a wide variety of audio sources can be connected to the MAUI 5, including playback devices and instruments such as keyboards or guitars. Individual level controls, subwoofer and system volume controls, and a high-shelf filter for adjusting the high frequencies to the room acoustics ensure perfectly tuned performance.
