The AKAI Professional MPK Mini Plus II is a versatile USB/MIDI keyboard controller that combines a compact 37-key keyboard with the signature MPC controls of AKAI Professional. Thanks to its extensive integration with MPC Standalone, MPC 3 Desktop and popular DAWs, the controller is suited for both music production and creative performances.

The redesigned keyboard features 37 velocity-sensitive mini keys, complemented by dedicated pitch and modulation wheels and octave buttons. Eight velocity-sensitive RGB MPC pads support Aftertouch, Note Repeat and Full Level, among other features. For hands-on parameter control, eight freely assignable endless rotary knobs and a push encoder are included.

Creative possibilities

The MPK Mini Plus II offers a range of features for developing melodies, chords and patterns. The comprehensive arpeggiator includes chord and random functions, swing and a Pattern mode. In addition, dedicated Chord and Scale modes are available.

MPC and DAW integration

The controller integrates directly with MPC Standalone devices and MPC 3 Desktop. Popular DAWs are also supported for controlling tracks, plug-in parameters and transport functions, with direct feedback via the display and other indicators on the device.

NKS support

Thanks to NKS support, the MPK Mini Plus II provides direct control of more than 2,000 NKS-compatible instruments and effects.

Extensive connectivity

USB-C handles both the data connection and power supply. For external hardware, the controller also features a traditional 5-pin MIDI output and a 6.3 mm input for a sustain pedal.

For integration with analogue and modular synthesizers, dedicated Pitch, Gate and Mod outputs on 3.5 mm jack are provided.
