The Showtec NET-8/3 and NET-8/5 nodes are advanced network routers that convert Art-Net to DMX512 and vice versa. Up to 4096 channels can be transmitted over a single CAT5 cable. This makes the Net-8/x suitable for events of any size. The NET-8/x includes in built network switch allowing it to also be used as an Ethernet repeater, and 8 separate DMX-512 universes that can be used as input or output. Everything is set up with the user-friendly menu on the graphic display and the buttons on the front.
