Description
SAFETY CABLE 70CM 4MM VBG CERIFIED.
Fly high with safety cables:
Parcans, loudspeakers, moving heads, mirror balls, trussing, brackets, projectors, flat screens — all these different products have one thing in common. Whenever they are used at elevated positions or above the heads of people or your audience, whether as a static or moving effect, you must use an independent secondary securing system in accordance with BGV-C1 and VBG regulations to ensure the safety of visitors at your venue. In all these cases you must use safety cables to secure your equipment and to ensure that in an emergency, secured static equipment cannot fall more than 20 cm or, for moving equipment, no more than 5 cm, in order to prevent impact forces from becoming too high. Just as important as the safety cables themselves are the links, carabiners or catbiners, because the whole system is only as strong as its weakest link. For this reason, our safety cables are fitted with certified connectors to ensure safe use, as long as the cable and coupling are used within their specifications. Safety cables can be used as single-strand or double-strand to carry and secure their specified load. Check the specifications of each cable to find the one that perfectly meets your needs. Please note: safety cables are intended to secure your equipment, not to hoist it. For hoisting purposes you can use our well-equipped Lodestar range.
