Whenever they are used at elevated positions or above the heads of people or your audience, regardless of whether it is as a static or moving effect, you must use an independent secondary safety measure in accordance with BGV-C1 and VGB regulations to ensure the safety of visitors at your venue. In all these cases, you must use safety cables to secure your equipment and to ensure that in case of emergency, the secured static equipment cannot fall more than 20 cm or, for moving equipment, no more than 5 cm, in order to prevent the impulse forces from becoming too high. Just as important as the safety cables themselves are the links, carabiners or catbiners, because the whole assembly is only as strong as its weakest link. For this reason, our safety cables are equipped with certified connectors to ensure safe use, as long as the cable and coupling are used within their specifications.
