Description

SUB2100 Adam Active Subwoofer

ADAM Audio has developed the unique Sub2100 subwoofer for the specific requirements of large control rooms and studios. The Sub2100 combines an enormous 21.5″ woofer with an amplifier delivering a continuous output of 1000 W, housed in a bass reflex enclosure tuned to reproduce frequencies down to 18 Hz. Thanks to the enormous power and extremely high efficiency (99 dB/W/m), this system can produce linear SPL peaks of ≥128 dB without noticeable compression.

Essential to the output of this woofer is the massive 6" voice coil. Thanks to this voice coil, the Sub2100 is capable of reaching the highest SPL levels at the lowest frequencies perceivable by the human ear. In every respect, the Sub2100 sets a new benchmark in subwoofer technology.
