Direct Drive HiFi Turntable System

With the TURN 5, Reloop HiFi launches a quartz-controlled, direct-drive turntable that meets the highest audio standards. Drawing on our expertise, we have developed a new HiFi turntable that, with its technical refinement, stands as the best in its class.

Powerful DC motor & low-resonance die-cast platter

The brushless, direct-drive DC motor provides powerful drive with highly consistent rotation, and the TURN 5 is produced using precision die-casting manufacturing techniques. A dampening rubber base on the turntable system eliminates any unwanted resonance, and the included 5 mm rubber mat also protects against vibrations, ensuring nothing stands in the way of exceptional audio reproduction.

Statically balanced S-tonearm & hi-tech Ortofon cartridge system

The TURN 5 features a statically balanced S-shaped tonearm. Together with the hydraulic lift and an anti-skating adjustment, it comes with a convenient tonearm height adjustment with VTA lock. This guarantees optimal cartridge performance and accurate reproduction of the recording medium. The included Ortofon 2M Red cartridge is pre-mounted on a headshell and stands out with its elliptical stylus and phenomenal sound quality.

High-quality controls & connections

The three motor speeds can be selected using convenient top-panel controls at 33 1/3, 45 or 78 rpm. This means the TURN 5 can also play old shellac records using a corresponding mono cartridge system (not included). In addition, the large start/stop button is located here. The universal locking mechanism (SME) on the tonearm allows for quick and easy headshell swapping. The included counterweight also supports a wide range of cartridges, as it accommodates heavier pickups as well. On the rear panel of the TURN 5, a gold-plated phono output pair (RCA) is provided with a separate ground connection to prevent any interference. The connector recess for all cable connections is recessed to protect them as much as possible. For easy exchange, both the power cable and the RCA cable are detachable.

Elegant design in an exceptionally robust construction

The chassis is built on a heavy metal structure with shock-absorbing feet to isolate unwanted vibrations as much as possible and reduce ambient noise. The combination of different materials provides additional rigidity to the cabinet. With its deep black piano finish, the TURN 5 is visually elegant and timeless. The gold-plated platter floats harmoniously above the cover plate, drawing the eye to what matters most — the record.
