The stylish, compact and versatile Monitor Audio Vecta V240 speaker cleverly combines architectural aesthetics with innovation and the high-quality professional audio performance the company is known for.  The Vecta V240 offers incredible versatility and easy installation. Using cleverly designed brackets and a one-point automatic connection system, Vecta can be quickly and easily mounted horizontally or vertically. Installers attach the bracket to the wall, then drop the speaker into place and secure it with a single screw. This installation method not only saves integrators time, but also simplifies the complexity of installing speakers at height or at difficult angles.  An automatic connection system means the installation is extremely slim, with no visible wires. To ensure that customers receive the best possible sound, when mounted on the wall bracket, Vecta can be tilted 25 degrees or a further 32.5 degrees (using the optional wedge) to direct the sound to the desired location. 

When speakers are installed outdoors, a different approach is required, as these systems must be able to deliver a high quality audio standard in external conditions and locations. For the Vecta V240, Monitor Audio mounted dual 4" C-CAM metal cone controllers on the curved baffle to ensure that a controlled sound field is delivered. This minimizes ceiling or wall reflections when mounted under eaves or in a corner, while still being wide enough for superior coverage when wall mounted. The centrally mounted C-CAM tweeter is horn-loaded to ensure that the dispersion at the crossover point matches that of the midrange, providing a smooth frequency response off-axis. This approach results in the ultimate audio experience, with fewer "black spots" in the sound.

The aesthetics match the performance of this speaker, as Monitor Audio has paid close attention to the design. Designed with a curved, tapered back cabinet in black or white, the Vecta V240 fits seamlessly under eaves or in vertical corners.  The speakers are encased in a high-density ABS enclosure with a rust-resistant grille designed to withstand extreme environmental exposure. The fully sealed enclosure is free from airborne noise or potential water and dirt intrusion, helping to maintain an IP55 environmental protection rating.
