VEXO108/W Audac 8" high-quality 2-way speaker

The most compact models in the VEXO100 series pack a surprising punch. Compared to our VEXO8, the VEXO108 competes in a different league, offering greater clarity and higher output power in a similarly compact form factor.

The VEXO1xx series are compact, high-performance 2-way speakers available in 4 different (active or passive) models. The low-frequency transducer, made from high-quality materials, is combined with a 1.4" (VEXO108) or 1.7" (VEXO110, VEXO112 & VEXO115) voice coil compression driver, enabling high sound pressure levels and a tight driver response with a rotatable 90° x 70° coverage pattern for a wide range of applications.

Thanks to the unique driver configuration, the VEXO108 delivers clear and natural sound with an RMS power of 200 Watt and a peak power of 800 Watt. The frequency response (±3dB) ranges from 75Hz to 20 kHz and the sensitivity (1W/1m) reaches 95dB, while a maximum continuous sound pressure level of 118dB can be achieved.

Using an optional 70V/100V line transformer, the VEXO series can be used in 70V or 100V systems. By removing the rear panel and replacing it with a 70V/100V rear panel with integrated module, the high-quality speaker can be deployed in a 70V/100V system.

The cabinet construction is made from 15 mm plywood with a polyurethane coating, making it highly impact-resistant. The front of the cabinet is finished with a powder-coated steel grille and acoustic foam. Unlike its larger siblings, the VEXO108 does not feature a recessed carrying handle on the rear. However, the speaker can easily be positioned and suspended using the standard 35 mm pole mount adapter at the bottom and the M10 suspension points. Two speaker connectors ensure reliable connections with straightforward daisy-chaining between cabinets.

With the optional Clever U-bracket, the powerful 2-way cabinet can be mounted both horizontally and vertically. A tilt range of -90° to +35° ensures optimal positioning. With the optional MBK bracket, the VEXO series can even be ceiling-mounted, allowing the speaker to be installed neatly in any environment.
