The Shure WH20 is a robust, lightweight, dynamic headset microphone with high-quality voice pickup. Can be used in combination with the SLX1 transmitter and SLX4 receivers.

What is the WH20 best suited for?

The WH20 headworn microphone is ideal for active microphone users, such as aerobics instructors and musicians, with low visibility for stage performances. Suitable for any voice communication application where comfort and reliability are required.

What characteristics can I expect from a WH20?

The WH20 features a cardioid pickup pattern. This gives the WH20 greater gain-before-feedback and isolation from ambient sounds and other unwanted sound sources, such as air conditioning, musical instruments and loudspeakers. A carefully shaped frequency response includes a vocal presence peak and a low-frequency roll-off to compensate for the proximity effect inherent to cardioid microphones during close-talk use.

The WH20 is available with either an XLR cable (WH20-XLR) or jack cable (WH20-QTR). There is also a WH20-TQG version for use with one of Shure's bodypack systems.
