AT-VM95C Audio-Technica Conical Stereo Cartridge

The AT-VM95C is the new entry-level Conical cartridge from Audio-Technica and is the replacement for the legendary AT90 series such as the AT91, AT91R and the CN5625AL.

The AT-VM95C is a 'budget' cartridge with a Conical stylus; the compatibility within the range makes it possible to upgrade the cartridge with one of the 4 other LP styli in this series, such as: Elliptical, Elliptical Nude, MicroLine and Shibata.

Every diamond stylus of a cartridge shows wear after a period of playback.

This is around 500 hours for a Conical stylus, 300 hours for an Elliptical stylus, 1000 hours for a MicroLine stylus and 800 hours for a Shibata stylus.

Our VM95 series dual moving magnet cartridges can be used almost 'forever' by replacing the interchangeable stylus. There is no longer any need to purchase a completely new cartridge when your diamond is worn. You can easily replace the stylus, but also experience what it is like to upgrade your cartridge with a different stylus from the VM95 series.
