VM95 Series Elliptical Nude stereo cartridge

The AT-VM95EN features a Nude Elliptical Diamond. The stylus construction — a single-piece diamond with a round shank in the cantilever — results in a lighter and stiffer transmission system than a diamond tip on a round titanium shank as found in the AT-VM95E. The use of a nude diamond also comes with a significant price difference, but the improvement in reproduction quality will be immediately noticeable, particularly in the accuracy of high frequencies and in the quality of transient response.

VM95 Series - Stylus compatibility

The diamond stylus of every cartridge will wear out after a certain period of use.

Approximately 500 hours for a conical stylus, 300 hours for an elliptical stylus, 1000 hours for a Microlinear stylus and 800 hours for a Shibata stylus.
