E 904 SENNHEISER (Also available at our rental department)
Dynamic cardioid instrument microphone

About

The E 904 from Sennheiser is a cardioid dynamic instrument microphone specially designed for use with drums. The compact microphone comes with a clip that allows you to mount it on any drum you choose. This makes it possible to position the microphone very close to the head, resulting in excellent recordings with minimal bleed. Full recordings of your percussion instruments have never been so within reach.

The Sennheiser E 904 has a fairly linear frequency response between 40 Hz and 19 kHz, with a slight presence peak in the high frequencies. This gives the E 904 a transparent sound, as the overtones of the snare or tom are captured beautifully as well. The microphone features a rugged metal housing and, despite its light weight, can withstand the hardest hits from your drumstick.
