ICOA SUB 18 A LD Systems Active Subwoofer
Music only really starts to swing when you feel the bass in your body. The ICOA SUB can deliver as much bass as you want - to get the crowd rocking and draw people onto the dance floor. It can even give a multimedia presentation the special oomph it needs to reach its audience.
The ICOA SUB produces serious bass and gives you more headroom and a cleaner sound. This is because your subwoofer relieves the main speaker, whose woofers are now less stressed by high-energy bass impulses, resulting in less intermodulation distortion. Even at higher volumes the sound remains uncompressed. Vocals and instruments stay crystal clear.
Thanks to the powerful Class D amplifier with 600 watt RMS or 2400 watt peak power, you have serious power at your disposal. With the presets of the integrated DynX DSP - offering crossover frequencies of 80, 100 and 120 Hz - you can perfectly tune your ICOA SUB to your system. Signal polarity can also be reversed and the SUB offers a delay line preset for distances up to 10 meters.
As your needs grow with increasingly larger venues, your installation can grow with you. Simply add more ICOA SUBs, which can be used in parallel, giving you ever more power. You can also take advantage of the cardioid preset. Just place the additional subwoofers next to your rear-facing ICOA SUB and activate the cardioid preset for a quieter and more controlled low end at the back, while retaining the punch at the front.
The sturdy 18 mm laminated wood enclosures can be stacked, while the M20 thread on top allows you to mount main speakers using a speaker stand pole. Transport is simplified by mounting wheels at the rear. Corner protectors safeguard the edges during setup. To prevent the ICOA SUB from slipping out of your hands, the four aluminium handles are coated with rubber.
Whether you are a DJ, singer-songwriter, rock or party band, the ICOA SUB produces the perfect bass to complement your live music. Lectures and multimedia presentations also benefit from its clarity and powerful presence, giving you the right support to amplify emotions in your audience.
