DJS-1000 Pioneer - Standalone DJ Sampler

Today, many professional DJs use electronic instruments and production equipment during their live sets to make their show creative and unique. Thanks to its user-friendly interface, 16 multi-colour step input buttons, 16 multi-colour Performance Pads, numerous inputs and outputs and even more performance features, the DJS-1000 is the ideal musical instrument to bring into the booth so you can take your performance to the next level.

Integrate the DJS-1000 into your DJ setup and intuitively create unique sounds and phrases before or during your set. Then decide the order of your sounds and loop them the way you want. Use the Beat Sync¹, tempo slider and nudge functions to create/improvise a new groove by synchronising and mixing it with other tracks from other devices such as CDJs. The 7-inch colour touchscreen displays all the information you need at a glance during your performance, thanks to easily recognisable sequence patterns and instrument icons linked to the Performance Pads.

Additional features are built into the DJS-1000, such as Live Sampling, which lets you easily sample input sounds and immediately use them as independent sounds or as FX in your mix.

1. Intuitive user interface

Step sequencer

Effortlessly create a new groove by tapping the 16 large, multi-colour step input buttons. You can keep track of the sequence information for each track thanks to the changing colours of the buttons.

Multi-colour Performance Pads

Use the 16 large rubber pads to play the assigned samples and loops. Each pad is equipped with multi-colour lighting and highly accurate touch sensitivity so you can increase or decrease the volume depending on the amount of pressure you apply when pressing the pads.

Touch strip

Use the touch strip to change the pitch using the Pitch Bend function or play a drum roll using the Note Repeat function. Customise the touch strip parameters for even more creative possibilities.

2. 7-inch colour touchscreen

Tap the LCD display to instantly access the screen of your choice:

• Home screen: view information about the sample assigned to each pad thanks to the instrument icons and colours linked to them
• Sequence screen: view the sequence pattern currently playing
• Mixer screen: adjust the volume balance of each track

3. Precise synchronisation with various external devices and systems

In addition to clock synchronisation with MIDI devices, the DJS-1000 is equipped with the Beat Sync function. This function synchronises a sequence per beat or bar with a track playing on a CDJ-2000NXS2 or XDJ-1000MK2 setup via PRO DJ LINK. Use the tempo slider and nudge buttons to quickly adjust the tempo and beat position manually, just like on a turntable.

4. Powerful performance features

Live sampling

Sample input sounds and use them immediately as individual tracks. The sampled sounds are automatically looped in sync with the current sequence so they can be used directly in a live remix. Via your mixer you can sample any input source, including audio from a turntable.

FX

Effortlessly add various FX to your tracks to spontaneously change the vibe. Apply FX such as echo, reverb and filter to individual tracks, a group of tracks or all tracks.

The DJS-1000 is designed to fit perfectly alongside the CDJ-2000NXS2 and DJM-900NXS2, ensuring a seamless setup in the booth.
