Description
DJM-V10 Pioneer DJ 6-Channel DJ Mixer
Create a unique sound with the DJM-V10. The DJM-V10 is a new kind of mixer born from a new design concept. Even the most creative DJs can use it to create original sounds. The 6-channel mixer produces a warm and energetic sound that is rock solid and packed full of unique features. Take control of your mix and enjoy the freedom to create something your audience has never heard before.
Connect CDJs, turntables and other line-level audio sources to the six channels of the DJM-V10 and use the specially developed 4-band EQ to shape your sound. Cut the high and low frequencies entirely and play with the two mid ranges, which use an exclusive curve, to craft your mix. There is also a brand-new filter controlled by a dedicated knob on each channel. Give your channels a rich texture by selecting the high- or low-pass filter and then sweeping the knob all the way from left to right.
Thanks to the extensive Send/Return section on the DJM-V10, your creative possibilities are endless. You can route audio to one of the four built-in effects and to up to two external effects units. Build your own configuration by connecting effects units, guitar pedals and more; personalise your performances the way you want. Send the audio back to the original channel or mix directly to the master output. Want to hear the effected sound without the source signal? Send it back to a separate channel and further shape it with the filter. You can even use specific effects apps in your performances by connecting your device via MULTI I/O.
Every component of the DJM-V10 has been carefully designed for the best possible sound quality and to give you the right tools to shape your sound. Once you have blended the elements and effects across the 6 channels, use the 3-band master isolator on the master output to radically alter the contours of your entire mix — or fine-tune them with precision. If you want to play raw, classic vinyl recordings alongside modern, mastered recordings, use the compressor. This is the first of its kind we have ever used in a mixer. It lets you blend tracks you would never have dared combine before. Simply turn the knob and you boost the loudness of the sound on the selected channel, resulting in a more natural-sounding mix. Want to give a track more punch? Add harmony and depth with one of the Beat FX, including the brand-new Shimmer.
If the sound in the booth is not quite right, use the new booth EQ on the DJM-V10 to adjust what comes out of the monitors. Thanks to the two headphone outputs, each with its own channel selector and level control, you can easily take over the decks from the previous DJ who has just finished their set. Or if you are playing back-to-back, you can both decide which channel to cue.
The DJM-V10 is available from early February 2020 at a recommended retail price of € 3299, including VAT. If you want to use it together with rekordbox dj/dvs, connect the mixer to a computer running the latest version of rekordbox (rekordbox dj/dvs licence key required, sold separately). The DJM-V10 is also compatible with Serato DVS (Serato DJ Club Kit licence required, sold separately — Serato DJ Pro compatibility coming soon) and TRAKTOR DVS (TRAKTOR PRO 3 required, sold separately).
KEY FEATURES OF THE DJM-V10
1. Superior sound quality
Feel the warmth of the mixer's natural sound and hear every detail of the music. We have incorporated studio-quality 96 Hz/64-bit mixing and dithering processing in the DSP, as well as high-quality 32-bit A/D and D/A converters. All of this, plus the low-jitter clock circuit, produces a full low range complemented by a vibrant mid range and an accurate high range.
2. Six channels
Choose your ideal configuration and connect whatever you want: from CDJs and turntables to samplers, synthesisers and drum machines. Connecting is easy because the analogue inputs are aligned with the channels on the top panel, so you always know where to plug in the cables when you are in your booth.
3. 4-band EQ
Shape your sound the way you want with the newly developed 4-band EQ. The frequencies, curves and gain/attenuation amounts per band are all specially designed for total flexibility. Isolate the high and/or low range and fine-tune the two mid ranges in your mix, each with their own custom curves.
4. New filter with dedicated knob on each channel
Make drastic changes to the sound of a track or make minute adjustments with the newly developed filter with resonance control. Switch high- or low-pass filters on with the dedicated button and then sweep all the way from left (no filter) to fully right (maximum filter). Because the high- and low-pass filters are separated, the full range of the knob is linked to the option you have chosen. This gives you twice the resolution to work with compared to the filters on the DJM-900NXS2. That means you can make much more nuanced adjustments to the effect.
5. Send/Return section
Route audio to one of the four built-in effects and to two external units to create unique sounds and even live remixes. You can connect all kinds of equipment to the Send/Return jack terminals, such as guitar pedals, effects units, mobile devices running effects apps and more.
The built-in Send/Return effects are Short Delay, Long Delay, Dubecho and Reverb. The parameter knobs let you refine the effects as follows:
• Size/Feedback: changes the room size when using reverb and the amount of feedback when using Delay and Echo.
• Time: adjusts the decay time of the Reverb, Delays and Echoes.
• Tone: changes the colour of the effected sound, making it deep and heavy or light and sharp.
• Master mix level: acts as the overall volume of the effected sound when Master Mix is enabled.
Whether you use external equipment or the built-in effects, you decide where to send the audio. Route it to an empty channel and further shape the effected sound with the EQ and filters. You can also feed it directly into the mix by enabling Master Mix and sending it to the master output.
6. 3-band master isolator
Effortlessly control the tone of your entire mix with the 3-band master isolator. It features new gain/attenuation curves and adjustments to the crossover frequencies and other parameters. Grab the large knobs and send the crowd wild by making dramatic changes to the sound.
7. Compressor knob on each channel
If you want to play older or unmastered tracks but are worried they will be drowned out by loud music made with modern production techniques, the DJM-V10 has the solution. Turn the compressor knob on the relevant channel and the mixer improves the audio in real time. The quieter the track, the more compression is applied. This boosts the volume of 'weaker' tracks with minimal impact on mastered music.
8. Two headphone outputs and booth EQ
Connect your headphones at the same time as another DJ and enjoy individual monitoring. Each headphone output has its own cue/master mix control and level control. This lets you choose what you want to hear while preparing to take over the decks from your predecessor or during a back-to-back set. The booth EQ lets you adjust the sound from the monitor speakers to keep your ears from getting fatigued during long sets.
9. Support for external devices, apps and services

ShowKontrol
The DJM-V10 supports the extensive PRO DJ LINK ShowKontrol protocol. This allows DJs, technical producers, LJs and VJs to use all the key information from the DJM-V10, such as the actual fader and knob positions. This enables them to effectively align audio and visuals and deliver shows that blow the crowd away.
In addition, some DJM-V10 settings can be configured externally via the ShowKontrol software.
