ORBIT 11 PALMER 3-Way Coaxial Studio Monitor

The Palmer ORBIT 11 is an active coaxial 3-way studio monitor for mixing, mastering, post-production, sound design and content creation. The coaxial True Point Source design combines a 6.5″ midrange driver and a 1″ tweeter on a single acoustic axis and, with its dispersion angle of 120° × 120°, delivers stable sound reproduction and a reliable balance throughout the entire listening area.

The low frequencies are handled by two eight-inch woofers in a sealed cast aluminium enclosure with a wall thickness of 5 to 16 mm, which minimises unwanted vibrations and enables impressive deep bass reproduction down to 28 Hz.

Internal DSP with 96 kHz/24-bit and FIR filtering guarantee linear and time-coherent reproduction.

Features:

• For quick installation, the top-panel control section provides direct access to the 3-band EQ, desk and wall presets, and an 80 Hz high-pass filter. Connectivity options include a balanced XLR line input and AES3 via XLR, as well as an AES3 Thru output.
• Thanks to the threaded mounting points and M8 eye bolt, the ORBIT 11 can be securely mounted to a wall or ceiling.
